Auto Transport Quote Services is dedicated to make every customer happy with their auto transport experience. However, during the winter season, auto haulers sometime need extra time to make a pick up or delivery due to weather. In the winter of 2013 the polar vortex came across the upper United States and caused numerous delays because of the sub-zero temperatures, snow and ice on the roads. In January 2014 a similar situation occurred where some states in the north had sub-zero temperatures and shippers were unable to safely transport cars.
Safety Is Our #1 Goal
The number one goal for our company is to ensure your vehicle is safe and secure from the moment we pick up your vehicle until we deliver it to your doorstep. When the weather gets severe (extreme cold weather, snow, ice, tornado, hurricane, etc.) the hauler must make sure to take their time to ensure the safety of all parties involved. Delays can occur in this industry and the DOT and Central Dispatch allows +/- 2 days when picking up and delivering all vehicles in case of emergency.
It is understood that everyone has places to be and things to do. We do our very best at accommodating all customer needs. Please be patient this time of year with the haulers. They are doing everything in their power to make sure you have happy with the service, your vehicle is safe and delivered in the timely fashion. One thing that can make a truck drivers day is when a customer is understanding and lets the driver know that safety is the most important issue. No one wants to see anyone hurt, any vehicles damaged or worse.
These delays are in very extreme situations and over 98% of our customers do not experience any of these issues. Auto Transport Quote Services wants to make sure we check all of our bases so each and every customer is knowledgeable as to the auto transport process.
