Chevrolet is starting to talk some trash when it claims the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will beat the Ford Mustang. This battle between the two companies and two cars has been going on for decades and will continue to go on as long as the two companies are in existence.
GM’s VP of Global Product Development, Mark Ruess, claims he is “I’m confident, I’m very confident.” that the new Camaro will outperform the Mustang. He actually test drove the new Mustang and the new Camaro back to back and, even those probably biased, said he thought the handling, power, efficiency, and technology was all better with the Camaro. In the same interview, Mark Ruess, also said that there will be some really cool things in the Camaro that are quite different that the Cadillac CT6 and Chevy Malibu. As a car hauling company and a fan, this sounds pretty promising.
One of the technologies that Mark Ruess said would be in the Camaro is a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 Engine that is currently found in the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. This engines puts out more power than the Mustang GT on paper. The official release date of the new Camaro has been set for May 16th, 2015. Fan everywhere are looking to be the first to test drive and purchase of of these redesigned Camaro’s.
As an auto transporter, we see all sorts of vehicles because we transport anywhere in the United States. We can honestly say that the new Camaro should be a dominating force for Chevrolet. The redesign, the new technologies, the new everything about the car will bring back the buzz that it had when it was just a concept in the first Transformers movie. Chevrolet has been doing a much better job taking the old school and meshing it will the new school. They had some hiccups when they first started trying to do it; look at the SSR Truck or the Pontiac GTO. Now they have almost perfected the craft. When May 16th rolls around, check out your nearest dealership and get your hands on one of these monsters while you can.
