My name is Nicholas Dutko, owner of Auto Transport Quote Services. My business model is a lead provider for the auto transport industry. I provide high quality leads to brokers within the auto transport industry and each broker pays me a fee for each lead. I have it set up that businesses buy leads in increments of 250 (can buy 250, 500, 750, etc.) on a monthly basis. I also never ask for the company buying leads to give me a credit card because I allow companies to pay an invoice I send to them online through PayPal. That way the company can pay it on their own time. I send out invoices 1-2 days prior to them being due and I usually give 1-2 days after they are due to allow a grace period for people to make payments. Seems reasonable right?
So, I worked with Upscale Auto Transport a while back when I first was getting my business off the ground. Selling them leads and having a good business relationship with the owner Krassian Sanchez. After a few years he stopped purchasing leads from us because the price was too expensive for them at the time. He gave me proper time and notice that he was going to not renew the next month. No big deal.
On a side note, on the invoice that I send out to every broker when they make a payment it has terms a conditions. Things like: don’t trash talk other brokers, do right by the customers, and to cancel we need a 5 day notice prior to the end of the month or you’ll be obligated to pay for the next months leads.
Now that is out of the way I can continue with the story.
I send over my normal invoice as I always do 2 days prior to start of the month. As it usually happens, the brokers all pay within the time frame I give except of Krassian at Upscale Auto Transport. I give me a ring on December 5th, 2017. He said, “not a problem, he will pay it today or tomorrow”. another few days go by and the invoice is still not paid. On December 8th I call him back and ask why he hasn’t paid. He told me at that point that he didn’t want leads anymore. I simply explained of our policy (which he already knew). He then said he didn’t want the leads and he will pay for the leads that he already received for the month.
As you might guess, I was pissed off. This guy wants to screw me over because he doesn’t have his finances in check??? After a go around with him via text (because he stopped answering my calls) he said he would pay the invoice by Monday December 11th. Monday came and gone and still no payment. The invoice if only for $405.00. It is not a lot of money, but it is the principle. You wanted a service, you were paying for the service and then you want to screw over a company and person that was helping you??? I was giving him $1.00 off every lead to help him and his business generate money with my leads. I continued the discount for an additional two months because we were going into “slow season” and I was being nice. I was literally taking money out of my own pocket so this asshole could get leads and he treats me like this???
Krassian Sanchez and Upscale Auto Transport are fucking terrible. Can’t follow contracts, can’t pay their bills on time and Krassian can’t even be a man and answer his phone. What a pussy.
