Guess what vehicle just got green lighted but the company doesn’t want you to know about it? The Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat has been green lighted and has been tested using the 12016 Jeep Grand Cherokee body. Chrysler is calling it Project K, but only a select few know about it, until NOW. I bought a Jeep Cherokee for my wife a few months back and I fell in love with the Jeep brand since. This Hellcat may very well be the vehicle I buy for myself. I don’t care if I have to special order it, have it transported enclosed, or whatever it takes; it will be mine.
Sources have claimed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk will have the 6.2 Liter HEMI V-8 supercharged engine as an option in the 2017 model year. That is the engine that will crank out 707 horsepower. It will also have an 8 speed transmission and all wheel drive. Sources also claim that the Jeep Hellcat will reach 60 mph in just under 3 seconds, have a top speed of 200 mph and with the all wheel drive the acceleration will be intense.
Once the Hellcat was first announced for Dodge there have been a buzz about having may vehicles using the Hellcat engine such as the Challenger Wagon, Jeep Grand Cherokee and others. Having a street legal vehicle that is that fast and that bad ass is something America has been missing. Over the past 15 years America hasn’t really had American Muscle. People may argue that the modded Mustang and Camaro were still around, but those do not come close to the Hellcats. Then to think you’ll be able to have all of that inside an SUV from Jeep. That is just mind blowing. The future of automobiles looks bright with quickness, technology, auto-driving cars, etc.. Lets see what will be announced next. We are all on the edge of our seats.
