Customers who purchased a vehicle doesn’t expect upgrades to come for their vehicle after the fact. Tesla, however, is on a different planet than every other automaker. They want the car experience to be exciting throughout the life of owning one of their vehicles. Customers who purchased the 1st Generation Tesla, the Tesla Roadster, just received news that they have upgrades available to them such as a new battery, aero mods and an increased in driving range. Tesla is calling these upgrades “roadster 3.0”. The Tesla 3.0 upgrade is claiming to get a range of 400 miles on a single battery charge. Owners will be offered a 70-kWh battery that will retrofit to the roadster, which contains 31% more energy storage than the original battery. The second upgrade is an aero kit that has a 15% drag improvement. Lastly, new tires are available with 20% lower rolling resistance, wheel bearings and reduction is brake drag. These upgrades are going to be available starting spring 2015. It is unclear if these upgrades will be all a package deal or if you can buy each upgrade separately. Auto Transport Quote Services will provide answers to this as news becoming available.
It is a company like Tesla that starts a change in an industry. Providing forwarding thinking ideas that are not currently available and bringing them to a mass market. AT Quote Services feels the same way about the auto transport industry. Having the ability to make transport leads available to only certain broker companies that meet strict criteria to ensure customer needs are met. Or perhaps by offering phone verified leads to brokers to give them a higher conversion rate. It is these types of forward thinking that makes a company great.
Some changes are small, but others (like the Tesla Roadster upgrade) are monumental. Each time a company like Tesla moves along to the beat of its own drum others in the industry will start to chatter, but soon enough companies will start copying Tesla and trying to catch up to them. Tesla is always 2 steps ahead of their competition and by the looks of it, it will stay that way for a while to come.
