The North American International Auto Show has not even opened it doors to the public yet (when writing this article), but the Media Preview is generating TONS of buzz about the new vehicles on display and that are being unveiled by various auto companies. If you’re a person that likes super cars or a fast ride you probably had a liking for the Ford GT that was in production from 2005 to 2006. Well, your mouth can start to water yet again with the new Ford GT. The vehicle aims to start production in 2016 with very limited numbers, so be the first to preorder one to get one.
The new Ford GT is a complete carbon fiber body that houses a 600+ hp engine with large dual exhaust (you can almost fit your head inside of each exhaust), extreme body style, low tot he ground stand and wide body. The engine itself will be a 3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V-6. That may not sound fast, but the engine comes from a version that is currently being used by Chip Ganassi Racing in the TUDOR US Car Series. That means it will be FAST. The extreme style has some technology in it. The GT comes with active aerodynamics in the rear wing that changes it angle based on the current driving conditions. It also has an adjustable riding height, pushrod suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes.
The interior is just as cool as the exterior. Upward swinging doors start off from the exterior to interior. Next comes the seats that are integrated into the carbon chassis. This is followed by the F1 inspired steering wheel with paddle shifts. Lastly is the digital dash displays that shows all the stats of the vehicle.
This Ford GT is amazing throughout the vehicle. There is nothing missed that Ford should have added to this vehicle. It truly has it all. Lets just hope that the vehicle will be around for more than years like its predecessor. Who is ready for a test-drive? I call the first person to transport it!
